Chapter 1487 Dreams Do Come True
"I don't mind." Nicholas honestly didn't care at all.
Soon, the car stopped at a hot spring hotel.
Since Nicholas had already made a reservation prior to their arrival, the waiters began to
serve the dishes not long after they entered the private dining room.
After their dinner, he led Tessa to the spa for some relaxation.
Since they were separated for at least half a month, there was no doubt that the two
missed each other deeply. As a result, they didn't conceal their affection for one another
throughout the trip from the spa to their room.
It was almost dawn by the time they were done.
Tessa was so exhausted that she couldn't even pry her eyes open. So, she just stayed in
Nicholas' embrace as the latter attentively cared for her.
…
Thus, it was to no one's surprise that they only managed to wake up around noon.
Although Tessa was awake, she felt utterly lazy and had no intention of getting out of bed.
Nonetheless, when Nicholas saw this, he was more than happy to help her out.
Later, the two finally arrived home and walked toward the front door while holding hands.
As soon as they stepped through the door, they saw Gregory and Gordon sitting on the
couch with grim faces.
Follow on NovᴇlEnglish.nᴇtIt turned out that the two little guys were well aware that Tessa had returned last night
and had been waiting for her keenly in the living room.
Alas, their patience was rewarded with the news that Nicholas had taken Tessa on a trip.
To the two boys that had spent their entire evening eagerly waiting for their mother, it was
dreadful news indeed. Suffice it to say, Gregory and Gordon, had been sulking since
yesterday.
"Meanie Daddy! You took Mommy out to have fun without Gordon and me. You've even
hoarded Mommy all for yourself!" Gregory protested against Nicholas' unspeakable crime.
At the same time, Gordon, who was next to Gregory, nodded and echoed, "Daddy, you're
bad. I don't want Daddy anymore!"
As for Tessa, she simply felt that both her eldest and youngest sons were extremely
adorable despite their clearly sullen expressions.
So, she gloated, "Well, you started this mess, so it's your responsibility to coax them."
After that, she walked to the couch nearby and made herself comfortable.
Nicholas' eyes were instantly filled with resigned fondness as he watched her cheeky
demeanor.
After a moment of laughter and bickering, Gregory and Gordon eventually learned about
Tessa's upcoming performance at Wiener Musikverein.
Since Gordon was still young, he didn't know how significant it was for a musician to
perform at Wiener Musikverein. However, Gregory knew, which was why he was very
excited on her behalf. "Mommy, your dream is about to come true."
Gregory had always known the dream that Tessa was chasing and how hard she worked to
achieve the said dream.
Tessa smiled and nodded. "Yeah, I'm about to accomplish my dream."
Gregory was thrilled to bits.
Then, something seemed to have crossed his mind. He immediately rushed toward Tessa,
hugged her, and asked earnestly, "Have you told Uncle Tim?"
Although Timothy had been studying abroad in the past two years, he would always send
Gregory all kinds of bizarre technological inventions from time to time, and this courted
Gregory's favor.
When Tessa heard Gregory's question, only then did she remember that she only took time
to share this news with Nicholas and not her other friends and family.
"Oh, gosh. I totally forgot! I'm going to tell him right now."
As she spoke, she took out her mobile phone to contact Timothy.
The call went through in a jiffy. At once, a handsome and sophisticated-looking young man
appeared on the screen.
Timothy had changed a lot within these two years. Although he still looked as youthful as
ever, there was a drastic change regarding how he held himself. He was more confident
yet reserved.
"Tess, are you home?" Timothy looked at Tessa, smiling.
Nonetheless, before Tessa could reply, Gregory, who was next to her, eagerly shared the
good news, "Uncle Tim, Mommy received an invitation from Wiener Musikverein, and she

Timothy was astounded when he heard the news. "Is that really true, Greg?"
Even though he directed this question at Gregory, his gaze was entirely on Tessa.
Tessa nodded firmly with a grin. "It's true indeed."
"I will surely attend the concert on that evening then," Timothy made his promise through
the phone.
Of course, Tessa welcomed him. In fact, she even remembered to remind him, "Don't
forget to bring Sabrina along with you."
"Got it," Timothy replied with a nod.
Afterward, Tessa and Timothy chatted briefly. Their conversation mainly consisted of Tessa
nagging Timothy to take care of his health and reminding him to keep to a strict dietary
and sleeping schedule. She also warned him to pace himself lest he suffered burnout after
working too hard.
Alas, her idyllic days with her family had to come to an end as Tessa transformed into a
busy bee soon enough. In order to put on the best performance in her career at Wiener
Musikverein, she immersed herself in her practice and rarely had time for anything else.
Meanwhile, the elders of the Sawyers were also delighted when they learned that Tessa
would be performing at Wiener Musikverein. After all, those who were eligible to perform
there were all internationally famous musicians.
That night, Stefania and Tobias waited for Kieran to return before discussing their plans
with him, "Your Dad and I have already booked our flight tickets, and we will depart for
Vienna tomorrow morning. On the other hand, you will stay behind, take care of the house,
and manage the company during this period."
