Caroline didn’t hide it from Kirk at all and immediately sent a message to Quentin. “All right. You can send me the
details.”
The screen kept showing that Quentin was typing, and a moment later, he sent another message.

free this afternoon? I’ll bring them over.”

Caroline mumbled, “Just go.”
“Are you saying yes?”

“I’ll wait for you back home.” And with that, he got into the car and drove away.
