Chapter 192

After Emma and Wesley finished talking, she went to prepare breakfast and asked Susanna to get up

to eat.

While the two were eating leisurely, someone rang the doorbell of Emma's house.

She went to open the door in confusion. The person standing outside was a salesperson of a certain

home furnishing brand, and she was followed by a few workers carrying boxes.

The saleswoman said to Emma with a smile on her face, "Mr. Bateson ordered several sets of

kitchenware from us and told us to deliver them here."

Emma was speechless.

What is Trevor doing? Is he giving me stuff because he saw Wesley sending me plants?

Before Emma could react, the saleswoman instructed the workers to carry two large boxes into

Emma's living room.

Susanna came over curiously, and after bending over to open it, she found two sets of exquisite

kitchenware in the box, all of which were popular cookware these days.

that you like these things, so he's bought them for you."



Emma really liked this kitchenware because they were stylish, so she was very moved.

The manager then brought over a well-packaged box and handed it to Emma, saying, "Mr. Bateson

specifically asked us to bring this mug here."

Emma was shocked when she opened it to find the mug Trevor broke last time, which made her feel



While the two were talking, Emma's phone rang with a call from an unfamiliar number.

Emma picked it up, but she didn't expect Steven on the other end of the line.

He said excitedly on the phone, "Emma, I heard that you acknowledged a legendary figure as your

godfather, am I right?"

Emma frowned and said coldly, "What does this have to do with you?"

Except for a few close people around her, no one else knew that Wilson had acknowledged her as a

daughter. Steven was no longer in Jonestown, so how did he know about it?

Almost immediately, Emma thought of the person who probably told Steven about this—Crystal.

Thomas knew that Wilson acknowledged her as a daughter, and they must have told Steven about it

since they knew how greedy Steven and Simon were.

Steven said brazenly, "Of course I have something to do with it. I am your adoptive father, after all.

godfather. One is your past adoptive father, and the other is your current godfather, so we are

said the word 'godfather'.



After Steven finished speaking, he said in a low voice, "Emma, you really are something. After leaving

Trevor, you managed to get close to a legendary figure from Kingsford!"

Emma was so angry that she simply hung up the phone.



Susanna could feel Emma's unhappiness, so she stepped forward and hugged the woman gently and

said, "Dear, love and marriage belong to the two of you only, not the families. As long as Trevor is

committed to you, it doesn't matter whether other people like you or not."

Emma laughed because of Susanna's words. "What are you talking about? You speak like I rejected
