Chapter

Six months had passed, and | couldn't find her. She literally vanished. | got in contact with everybody she knew,
asking all of them if they knew anything about her, but she was nowhere to be found. | knew that I fucked up,
but did she have to do that? | would have taken a misuse.
I hadn't taken part in any social event after her disappearance. | didn't want to see anybody. Working was
already hard enough, but I had to. In sway, | needed to take revenge on every person who hurt her. If only |
could take revenge on myself.
"Don't you think it's enough?" Jeffrey Harolds was sitting in front of me. | planned on making him lose everything
gradually for enabling his wife and stepdaughter. Didn't they give my sunshine a hard life? | was going to make
them all pay. "Not really." | shrugged.
"| get that you're doing that for what Fiona has done to your marriage, but she was just jealous. She couldn't
believe that you didn't fight enough for her." Jeffrey defended his stepdaughter, makinglaugh. Either that
man was stupid or he was oblivious just like | was "Don't you know? Your beloved Fiona is the one behind ruining
my marriage with her. The look on his face toldthat he was oblivious. "Fiona and Chester were seeing each
other while Chester was dating Emily
and | was engaged to Fiona. They wanted to be together, but because of the arranged marriage, they couldn't,
so they planned the whole thing. Emily and | never slept together before our marriage. We were both drugged
that night.
Sam sentsdocuments privately. They weren't posted online, and | learned later on that it was Emily's
request. They were old conversations between Fiona and Chester that revealed a lot. As for the missing parts, |
got them from Chester because after reading everything. | saw red and paid him a visit. He toldeverything
after | made his face black and blue.
"Julian, if you keep doing that to my company, | will lose everything," he pleaded..

"And that's exactly what | want. | want you to lose everything. You gave her a terrible childhood. It's only right for
karma to crunning after you." | was doing all of that for her. She had to know that | still loved her with all my
heart. Her scent is still in my nose. "You're not just destroying me! You're hurting Emily too" Confusion took over
"What the hell is that supposed to mean?" | straightened my back,
"The company.." He looked down, What did Emily have to do with his company!
"What does your company have to do with Emilly!" | tried to be calm.
"Tellthat you'll stop destroying the company and I'll tell you." | wasn't going to make a deal with that man.
"No, you don't to make the rules here. Either tellright now or within a week, | will make you homeless." That
wasn't an empty threat. | had
the power to do so.
He stayed silent for a moment and | watched as his throat bobbed. "The company is actually Emily's" My eyes
went wide. How was it her company? "But all the documents are under your name."
"The company originally belonged to Emily's mum. When she died, | found out that she stated in her will that the
company was to be handed to Emily once she turned twenty-
one." He didn't need to tellthe rest. That man was horrible. He forged the will and the documents after he
found out that the woman left him nothing. He stole Emily's company.
"Don't you have any shame?" | snapped. "You stole her company, took her away from the house she considered
hafter she lost her mother, and ended up favoring your evil stepdaughter. What kind of father are you?" |
was disgusted by sitting in front of him. "Listen here. In case you haven't noticed, my original plan was to make
you homeless, but I'm giving you another chance. Providewith the original documents that the company
actually belonged to Emily and | will buy the company from you. Not with its actual worth, ""Five millions?! This
is so low," he exclaimed.
Then you're choosing homelessness" | turned my chair to the side, acting like | didn't give a damn. Actually, |
cared so much. It was hers. It was Emily's. | cared about anything about her or belonged to her. | will bring 1
you everything tomorrow," he said in defeat.
I should have been happy. | should have felt good, but | couldn't. | was a hollow person after her. Nothing seemed
to bring joy to me.
Jeffrey wasn't the only one who was paying for his actions. Chester was no longer respected. With a few calls, |
made sure that he wasn't going to be taking place in any respectable projects anymore.
As for Britney, she was currently one of the janitors in my company. | gave her two options. She had the chance
to choose between becoming a punitor for three years or never being accepted at any company ever again. She
definitely chose to be a janitor. Chapter 32
I didn't know how to punish myself for what | had done to her, but she was punishingwith her absence. | was
dying from the inside, | wanted to see her, hug her, kiss her, cuddle in bed with her, travel with her, and do
every single thing | could ever do with her. After | finished working. | told my driver to take
Mum and Dad had done everything in their power to find Emily, but none of them managed to do so. | was glad
that they didn't tellyou so! They had probably noticed my state and thought to themselves that | already
knew that there was nobody to blbut me. When I arrived, Mum toldthat Dad wasn't there. He was out
with his friends. It was good that she was hthough.

"How have you been?" she asked me. She knew that | wasn't in the best state, but she was trying to getto

news about her?" she wondered as she placed a cup of coffee in front of me. | missed the coffee Emily used to
make for me.
"No." I shook my head. "Sometimes | wish for a tmachine. | only need to repeat the last two months of my
life and I swear, | won't doubt her ever again." | wanted to cry, but I was embarrassed about doing that in front of
my mum. "I told her not to contact you... | told her to stay away from all of you. If only she didn't listen to me
*Maybe she is just hurt. She's probably giving you a hard tand she will eventually cback." Mum was
trying to makefeel better, but it was hard to believe her words. "Are you sure that Maya and Sam know
nothing about her whereabouts?" | shook my head. "I'm not sure of anything. They may be hiding her, but | could
never know. They will obviously take her side. | shrugged. The way she looked atwhen | threw the check at
her was haunting me. Whenever | closed my eyes, | saw the broken look in he pain | caused her. "Did she leave
you a letter or anything?"

"No. She just left everything | bought for her. Literally, everything. Even the sewing machine," | replied, looking
down. "The thing is, | can't stay at home. | see her everywhere. Her scent is there, and everything remindsof
her. And | also can't leave that place because be "Would you like to stay here for a while? What you're doing to
yourself isn't healthy." Mum placed her hand on my shoulder.
"I deserve this. | deserve this pain because of the way | made her feel" | needed to leave. It wasn't wise ofto
pay my mum a visit when | was in
that state.
