“Alright.” James nodded, drew her along, and accelerated forward with all his might. With a single stride, they
appeared at a distance of a thousand meters. After just a few strides, they disappeared from this mountain range.
He was moving forward at a rapid pace.
Previously, Laelia had been on the run for three days before arriving at this location. However, James traveled as
fast as he could, and after only half a day, he arrived at Tabalham.
Tabalham was the capital of the Tabal Empire. It was an ancient city that had been around for
a thousand years. The city gate was made of black rocks and stood a thousand meters tall. From a distance, it
looked majestic.
Both of them appeared outside of the city gate.
The city gate was closed, and there was no one outside it.
Laelia started to have a bad feeling.

He pulled Laelia along with him, took a stride, and appeared on the city wall that was a thousand meters tall.
When they stood on the city wall and looked out over the city, they could see mountains of dead bodies and rivers
of blood.
“Ah!” As Laelia saw this, she let out a scream. The corners of her eyes became red and tears started to flow
uncontrollably.
Even James furrowed his brow.
“The Dark Keep is so devoid of conscience that they actually butchered the entire city?
“My father, mother, brother, little sister…”
Laelia started sobbing and darted into the city.
James followed behind.
The large city was deafeningly quiet and reeked of blood. On the ground, corpses were strewn about.
Blood had stained the ground red. It was extremely desolate and depressing.
