With a tear-streaked face, Laelia looked at James and pleaded, “You must help me, Sir. You’re the only one who can
help me right now. I really don’t know what I can do without you.”
James was troubled as he replied, “…But I’ve no idea where the Dark Keep’s base is. I also haven’t a clue where
these people have taken your father and relatives.”
“I…”
Laelia thought for a while and said, “There’s a person who knows where the Dark Keeps’ base is located.”
“Who?” asked James.
Laelia replied, “The Lord of Liberty City.
James inquired, “What kind of person is he?”
Laelia explained, “Liberty City commands a lot of authority in the Land of Tabal. The City Lord’s real name is
unknown, but he goes by the monicker of Cloyd Xavier. He’s one of the most powerful men in the Land of Tabal.
Our family used to be on friendly terms with him. If we look for him, he should be able to tell us more about the
Dark Keep.”
“Then we shouldn’t waste any more time. Let’s go right away.”

James nodded. “Mhm. Let’s go.”
The two entered the city.
