His assistant, a young nurse, blushed and seemed a bit flustered.

Dr. Tam didn’t give Marcus any further explanation. He just turned his head to give out further instructions to his

assistant. “Alright, I’m leaving it up to you. Once he’s good to go, collect everything and bring it to me.”

The nurse blushed as she nodded in agreement. “Sure, Dr. Tam. Carry on with your work. I’ll handle everything

here. I promise to get it done.”

Dr. Tam cast a quick glance at the nurse before heading out with a bright smile spread across his face.

The nurse turned her eyes to Marcus. “Mr. Marcus, no need to worry. You’ll soon feel the medication’s effect.”

With that, she walked over to lock the examination room’s door before returning to Marcus with an ambiguous

smile. “Mr. Marcus, I’ll put on a movie to set the mood. If you start feeling anything, just call out for me. I’ll take

care of the rest.”

Marcus furrowed his brows, not quite understanding what she was saying. But soon, he started feeling a strange,

warm feeling spreading all over his lower body.

The nurse picked up a remote control and pressed a few buttons. A curtain descended from the ceiling, and the

room’s blinds were drawn.

The room quickly darkened until the projected image on the curtain lit up the entire space.

However, what was being projected was quite lewd… to say the least.

Upon seeing this, Marcus’ pupils contracted sharply, and his brows furrowed deeply.

Normally, he wouldn’t be phased by such a film, as it wasn’t his preferred genre.

But now, under the influence of the unknown drug, the warm, ticklish sensation coursing through his body was

intensifying.

How could this be happening?!

Sophia had set this up? Was she out of her mind? What was she trying to accomplish?

Marcus was doing his best to resist. All his senses were screaming for him to not look at the provocative scenes

playing out on the projection and keep his composure.

The drug coursing through his veins was rapidly draining his strength to resist.

He couldn’t fight off the nurse’s grip. He was gritting his teeth as he asked, “Why? Why would Sophia do this to me?

She knows I’m not capable of… of…”

The nurse simply laughed. “Mr. Marcus, don’t underestimate yourself. The drug that Dr. Tam gave you is incredibly

potent. It can rejuvenate anyone. I’m here to help you, too. You just need to cooperate with me.”

Marcus was at a loss. “Why would she? What’s her purpose? Tell me, at least let me understand!”

“Mr. Marcus, Ms. Sophia is only trying to help you.”
