Chapter 2210
Ivy was never one to mince words, and today, she was at her wit’s end. Her mood had
been sour from the get-go, and Diana just had to go and poke the bear. She was fed up
with playing the role of the silent sufferer; she was not going to take it anymore!
Time and again, she had swallowed her words for the sake of peace, only to be met with
escalating drama.
It was not her fault.
Why should she be the one to endure?
Looking like he had swallowed a lemon, Colton was having a headache. He had already
warned the supporting actress not to overreach. Yet, despite his caution, trouble had found
its way onto the set.
“Alright, simmer down, both of you.”
Diana played the victim card. “Colton, are you really siding with Ivy? Do you think it’s my

Can’t I even vent a little?”

With her head down, Diana’s eyelids fluttered, and tears began to flow.
Colton was at his wits’ end. What should have been a minor incident was now blown out of
proportion by her tears and tantrums, making it seem like the whole crew was ganging up
on her.
“Stick to the facts and cut the waterworks. Did anyone else see what happened? How can
you be so sure Ivy deliberately tripped you? We can’t just take your word and label Ivy as
the culprit behind your fall.”
It was bittersweet for Colton. He had become adept at handling such disputes, and he was
not about to foolishly take Diana’s word as gospel, not after the lessons of the past.
The crew wanted no part of the drama and kept their distance.
After all, it was not their fight. They had been busy prepping for a retake, and not many
had their eyes on the two actresses.
“I’m the victim here; I’m the living proof…” Diana’s voice shook as she spoke.
But the crew looked on indifferently. They had seen the likes of Giselle before, and no one
was eager to pick sides without concrete evidence.
Besides, openly tripping Diana in front of everyone would be too risky.
Ivy was not known for hobnobbing with the crew, nor did she carry herself with an air of
superiority.
Diana could not believe her quick move had nearly backfired. With so many on set, not
one person was on her side?
Had they not all condemned Ivy during Giselle’s incident?
They had seemed so keen on disliking Ivy then Why the silence now?

record the goings-on of the set.
“If you all refuse to believe me, so be it. Let’s just say I tripped by accident today. But Ms.
Dunhill, you better watch your step. If you play by the river long enough, you’re bound to
get wet. Eventually, everything you do will come to light.”
Ivy could not help but laugh at the irony.
Was this woman for real? What did she think she could expose about her?
“Save that advice for yourself. Save your acting for when the camera rolls, and quit trying
to frame others. The audience isn’t blind.”
The situation had resolved more smoothly than Ivy had expected.
She had braced herself for another round of finger-pointing from the crew, but to her
surprise, they did not rally behind Diana.
Could this mean that the rest of the crew was beginning to warm up to her?
A glimmer of hope brightened Ivy’s thoughts.
Little did anyone know that this minor incident would take the internet by storm.
