| widened my eyes as if questioning why he was not a little more ruthless.
"That way, the police wouldn't have to investigate so many things and your plan would've succeeded. Wouldn't
that have been better?"
Theo took a deep breath. He did not refute my statement and merely exhaled slowly.
| could tell that he was furious right now, but I could not distinguish if he was actually mad because | had
accused him, or if it was because the police had investigated so many things and exposed his tricks too
